OK, I just purchased a Green Polyp Sarcophyton from LFS, and when I got it home I noticed what looked like little feather dusters at the base of the coral. "Cool" I tought, then suddenly a couple of them started swimming around in the bag by wiggling back and forth! What are these, and are they a threat to my tank? They are still contained tin the bag for now, until I fugure out what they are.

More then likely they are harmless pods.

I've never seen a featherduster that's cast its tube, but that's what I'd expect it to look like. Scale?

Nothing to worry about. They are hitchhiker featherdusters.
