sump/stand design with pic

it currently holds a scratched, hazy acrylic 75 gallon tank. I want to replace the tank with glass, but I'm not sure if the stand will support the weight. My LFS guy absolutely bc all stands for a 75 are designed to support a 90. So, i figured that i might as well go for the extra few inches. however, i don't want a disaster. what do you guys think?

Well, 75 gallons of water weighs over 600 lbs. Compared to that, I would think the weight difference between a glass tank vs. an acrylic tank would be insignificant.
