First Corals!!

picked them up yesterday, can ayone tell me what kind of brain this is please, and if it supposed to open more than this, i am a litttle worried about it because after i got it home i noticed some dead spots on it and a worm too. i tried to get the worm off but it got behind the coral and vanished.

Zoas, leather, and brain. I wouldn't go out and buy corals you don't know anything about. Research first.

its just the brain im worried about, thanks for the negativity though. and i know what they all are i was just asking about the brain.

Get the brain down in the sand in a low to med flow. In that picture it looks like part of the skeleton is showing so you will want to keep an eye on that. Keep your water qualities good and it should recover.

I really like your new corals. I just ordered my lights. So I hope to have some corals in the next month or so.

I went to your gallery - I really like your setup. It's amazing how much there is to learn about this hobby and how long it takes to get comfortable. I think some of the guys who have been doing this for years - FORGET - how intimidating it can be. And how much help a little reassurring can help. Looks to me like your doing a great job.
