I need some starboard (or the equivalent) to put on the bottom of a few 55 gallon tanks. Is there anywhere online that sells it?I dont believe Home Depot sells it here in Hawaii.

look for plastics supply companies. I get mine from one near my home and its awesome. Fairly cheap compared to the online price + shipping.

Correct me if Im wrong.. but arent Reef Tanks illegal in HI?

no you are right.. lol It isn't for a reef. I need something to put on the bottom of my tanks to keep the fish from banging against the bottom (mainly ornate wrasses) When they do this, their lips get bent back from the banging. They think they can go down more because they see the floor and try to go through the tank. Makes them stressed to. Anything else i can use to serve my purpose????

Could you just paint the underside of the bottom?
