OK, bear with me. A month ago I'm looking around after lights out with my mini MAG light, and WHAT WAS THAT? Something darted across a rock and disappeared into a hole.
Ever see a dead hermit out of the shell? The body is clear/translucent. It looked like that. So I thought maybe it was a hermit, sans shell.
Well, I saw it again tonight. About the size of a dime in diameter, translucent all around. Kinda like a beetle, that kind of shape.
I'll never get a picture of it, it's too fast and elusive.
WEIRD! I have no idea what it came in on, or how long it's been there. Nothing in the reef has suffered any damage, thankfully.
If anyone has any ideas, fire away!
