Just curious. The instructions on my test kit solutions do not say you should refrigerate them after opening but I thought it might be a good idea. Does anybody do this? Think it might be harmful?

I do not refrigerate them, but they are kept in my basement. I do not think it could hurt to keep them cool. :)

Keeping them could could maybe cause something to precipitate? I keep mine at room temp, even in the lab. Be sure they are closed thight.

I'd certainly allow them to warm to room temperature before using them. :)

That is a good point, I don't think I want to wait 30 min - 1 hour every time I want to test my water for the solutions to warm up.

I can't see into my reagent bottles but I always shake them for a good 20-30 seconds before using them to make sure everything is good and mixed. If there is any precipitate hopefully it is mixed back into solution.
