I have a quick question for the board. In my 16G Nano Reef it seems my calcium has some-how exceeded 600ppm. I have tested several times and get the same result. Any ideas on how to get it down or should I just give it time and let nature take its course to reduce. Nothing seems the worse for the wear but any ideas or suggestions would be great. The Tank is fairly heavily populated with mostly Soft corals but a few hard corals are in there also.
Thanks
Mike

What type of test are you using and how old is it? I'd buy a new salifert test and see what you get. If your water really is holding 600 mg/L calcium, I'd be suprised to learn that was possible. That's got to be pretty saturated. Your water couldn't be holing much more of anything else...Mg for example. I'd check your alk too.

The tests are fine. I have done them 3 times now. I have done a 25% water change and now it is down to the 540ppm Level. Is there any reason why I would not let it come down naturally now? Is there any damage that I could do? Corals are growing like crazy.
