Frag shelf?

I'm setting up a frag tank, using a 40 gallon breeder tank. I have some plastic eggcrate material to use as a shelf. Not sure what to use for legs. I tried using pvc lengths and laying down the eggcrate over with live rock holding it down. This seems flimsy and the water current seems to shift the legs about. Any suggestions as to what you've seen or done to create a nice shelf to place frags on?

I used 2 pieces of acrylic, cut like a stair step. I glued the bottom shelf in place with weldon 16 and put 2 1 1/2 wide strips across the back. This braces the assembly and acts as a stop for the back of the shelves. I glued 2 runners near the top for the top shelf so it is removeable for access to the lower shelf.
