[welcome]

What do you have to spend on one? I would recommend either a MRC or a ASM skimmer. Both work very good and are highly recommended.

Another great skimmer IMO is the coralife super skimmer... you can get much better for the price of it.. I have one for up to a 65 gallon tank on my 30L and it does an awesome job... I would recommend the next bigger on up for you... it can sit in sump or hang on so thats good too! Good Luck

you could make a better skimmer than most on the market by buying some acrylic tube and copying the life reef design, they are quite simple to make.

I too have little money to spend on a skimmer, I found a 220 gal rated Coealife super skimmer for $114

Go with that one then. CSS skimmers are pretty good skimmers but I only wish they came with better pumps but you can always switch the pump out later for a better one.
