I think your tank might be too small for a imperator Angelfish. They require a min of 100g. Also I don't think they are reef safe.
Nice tank by the way.

The tang police is coming to get you :-)
You shouldn't have one, never mind two tangs in a tank that size.

Forget the angel too. It will outgrow your tank really soon.

The clowns are ok, but the tang police will make you get ride of Dory.

By the way, that's a very nice tank.

Are you and undercover member of the tang police?;)

Those two Tangs are not good choices for a 72. A Kole Tang would have been much better
AN Emperator Angel is also not a good choice, it will also get way to big...A Dwarf Angel is much more appropriate
Clowns are an EXCELLENT choice!!
I could be wrong but won't that lobster eat small fish:confused:

If you get everthing you say you want I count 13 fish and some of those will get quite large. I think the bio load will come back to haunt you unless you have a very efficent nutrient export method.

You may want to rethink some of these fish.

Pat

tang police? lol

well the tangs are not fighting as of yet...they are kind of friendly to each other. they even share the same algae clip :p

my plan is not to keep them if they get to big.

i just wish i had the room for a bigger tank. o well

the problem with multiple tangs is usually if they are the same body shape, which those arent. If you had a sailfin and a yellow tang then they would probably fight, but a hippo and a sailfin are different shapes so i wouldnt think you'd have a problem with them fighting. The only problem i see is that they need alot of swimming room. Most people suggets atleast a 4 foot long tank for tangs

beautiful tank! i would forget the angel idea in a tank that size. what others are saying about the tang police is that two tangs...especially a regal and sailfin (two tangs that can get big)...in a tank that size is tight.

What are the Tang police? I keep hearing about people talking about them. What do they do?

The tang police is people who yell at you for keeping them in "small" tanks.

puredrive - As the tangs get larger, you'll likely start to see some issues. And it isn't if they get bigger, its when. Maybe trade the two tangs you have for a yellow tang or kole tang. You could keep those easily long-term. The clowns also should be nice and maybe look into the dwarf angels. BTW - nice tank.

yeame - you have to consider their eating habitats and adult size, so inches per gallons isn't always the best guideline.

thanks for all the comments.

I already knew the answer:cool: I was just hopping. That emperor angel just looks awesome.

yeah if i see any fighting within the tangs. I'll just trade them ..and get some smaller tangs.

ok i guess the search for another fish is in order..

i just dont dig the dwarf angels that much..maybe a bicolor angel..will see

here are some more pics.

I would not put an emperor angel in a 72, I thought about it too, but no way. Plus you have a lot of fish in there with your corals anyway. Plus an angel might pick and eat some of your corals.

great looking tank but too many fish..you will eventually run into problems with the bio-load; no doubt about it
