My clown fish that I have had for a year now has started turning very pale. It is looking very white. I have a 75 gallon tank with 2 clown fish, 1 blue hippo tang and 1 royal gramma. I have checked my levels and they are all normal. All of my other fish look great. Full of color. My sick clown is still swimming around a lot but he has been hiding under a rock which is uncharacteristic for him. Any ideas????

Hmm, tough one for me. I would suggest looking in the fish disease forum. Has the animal been feeding normally? Are any of the other fish harrassing her?

If he has been hiding under a rock for a long time, he's hasnt gotten enough light which will cause him to turn pale like when they first wake up in the morning and the light is first turned on. Probably not the right answer but just a thought.

Nope. The other fish are leaving him alone. They swim together sometimes but that is about it.
He comes out here and there. I hadn't thought about him not getting enough light.
Thanks!
