Happy Birthday!
What do you want to keep? If you want an anemone some day for the percs I don't think this will be a strong enough light.

I think those types of lights are mostly for freshwater. Try looking for power compact/ moonlight combos...... Drs. Foster & Smith has some good ones at a good price. If you are thinking about ever adding some corals, those definitely won't work.

It's not the quality or color of the bulbs that makes that fixture only good for a fish-only tank, it's the amount of light it's capable of producing (wattage). Any of the fixtures that Petco sells are fine for a fish-only tank. Corals and Anemones need more.
I did see a good price on Kent reef Carbon on the Petco Site.

A plain florescent tube like that just won't make enough light, no matter what kind of bulb you put in it. You'll at least need power compacts.
Fred is right...you can always use your certificates on supplies, test kits, etc!
