i have an insane amount of copepods in my tank my tank has been up and running for 2.5 months and you can barely see through the glass there so many in the larva stage is there a way to have to many copepods

it in a 75 gallon tank with 60 lbs of live rock and 2 fish a atlantic blue tang and an engineer goby

They are good. I don't think you can have too many.

I don't think they're hurting anything, if they're standard copepods, but if you want to reduce the numbers, you could try starving them, I guess.

they will starve off when theres to many. nothing to worry about!

no im just making sure that they cant stress out fish basicly it is hard to see right now

if anything it make the fish less stressed. for one they have tons of food, second they wont be bumping into the glass as much. you are positive they are copepods by the way?

i dont want to brag im just that new this my first tank and i read a thing on the internet saying fish that dont eat copepods tend to get them on there body and they dart around trying to get them off and may rub up against rocks trying to keep them off in the end stressing them out and my tang has been doing so i was concerned
