Anyone In the knoxville club mostly SPS?
Are you running a Calcium Reactor? What kind? size? etc.
Does anyone have a used one for sell?
Thanks in advance.
Brandon
1 tank almost exclusively SPS here; over 50 species total. CR-1 reactor w/ second chamber and Phosban reactor attached. Check w/ easttn, he may still have one f/s.

MRC makes great products.
I bought a MR-2R from andy not to long ago, but have just recently started switching to SPSs the last 6 months or so wanted to get advice on Calcium Reactors before dropping that kinda $ on something I knew nothing about.
Do you have the spray bar upgrade?
Would you recommend getting the whole kit from him?
Thanks
Brandon
I don't use the spray bar, but almost considered it awhile back. I solved the problem by going with a German media which allows me to run at a lower pH and hence rapidly dissolve more media. I did not buy the second chamber from him but converted an old fluidized bed filter I had into one. Calcium reactors can be a PITA initially, but once dialed in, they make your system much more stable.
