yeah thats a bit confusing...
Ok, heres the deal

I got a 70gallon ( 75 but a few inches shorter )
and I have a 400Watt MH over it, but trying to decide on a bulb...

Ive got a 400W Radium 20K comming thats going to be put about a foot and a half or so over it. And ran on a Blueline Eballast

Its a frag tank so I wanted something that was going to pull out some color and get the growing going! haha

The PAR rating on a 250W ran on this ballast is about 340 or so.. So I figured this would be a good bulb for growth and color...

Now My question is...
Its over this 70 gallon in the middle, No Brace..

Are softies going to be ok on the outsides?

I was thinking, more light demanding corals in the center...

Tell me what you guys think!

softies like xenia, and leather corals will love the light.

i would be more concerned with lps under direct light up high.
