Anyone have suggestions for the best food for a pair of occellaris?

They are the only fish in my nanocube and I dont want to develop an algae issue so I am looking for food that I can offer that will be high in nutrients.

My schedule allows me to feed at least twice daily if necessary.

Right now they seem to like a little bit of everything else I have sitting around...marine pellets, formula 2 and freeze dried cyclopeeze.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

I like formula 1. the fish love it and it keeps their colors nice and bright. plus pellet food has already been processed and wont pollute a tank nearly as bad a frozen if you overfeed or they dont eat it.

There is no such thing as the best "food". Anything homemade or bought at a LFS is all good. In this case feed floating pellets, flakes will cause a mess if you dont a clean up crew or other fish.

A good mix is all that is necessary. Also be aware that this species consumes up to 25% algae in its natural diet, so feed accordingly.

I liked to feed mine Omega One Marine flakes, Enrished Mysis, and Forzen Formula 1.
