euro reef CS80 or asm g2x

for a 28 bow with a 20 high fuge.

I have the ASM G2, works great, easy to clean, and the price is pretty decent.

Both would be more than enough for the tank. ASM is the bigger of the two but both use the same pump. Size wise the CS80 is more comparable to the G1x and the G1x still has a slightly large body. ASM is a bit easier to clean cause you can remove the cone and get into the body of the skimmer. But the EuroReef has superior construction

dont know about the er, the asm is somewhat of a tight fit in a 20 H.

Hi,

I just bought an ASM G3, very good skimmer. I bought it at Salty Critter. I would recommend any skimmer in the ASM line.

I have the ASM G2 also, and it was easy to set-up, easy to maintain, and pulls out a ton of stuff. Highly recommended! I got mine at Salty Critter also.

I have always understood that for the most part they are the same skimmer with some very minor differences. IN that mind set its kind of a question of the superior materals used in the Euroreef being worth the extra money.

For my dime I would go ASM or a factory blemish Euroreef from http://www.h2otropicals.com/
But they are out for now.
