has anyone placed a bulkhead on the curved part of a stock tank?
I'm looking to add a 1.5 inch bulkhead and ideally it would go on the curved part but I am concerned with how well it would seal there. anyone who has done this your input would be appreciated.

Getting ready to install one myself. I am planning on putting it on the flat surface right in the middle which is slightly angled down.

I have a light-duty bulkhead there on the curve, and it leaked a tiny bit. I applied silicone sealant inside and out, and it's fine now.

uniseals would do the trick. www.savko.com carries them

I put a 1.5" heavy duty schedule 80 on the curve part of the sump. It leaked when I ran a water test for the first time. When you install the bulkhead to the sump apply aquarium silicone around the bulkhead. Put a good amount both inside and outside the bulkhead. I did this and it worked for me.
