i got an oceanic 30G cube ($85 display one at petsmart) last weekend. my plans are to drill for a 1" overflow w/ external durso, down and split by a T into two side by side 10G AGAs i have lying around. One with skimmer, one with fuge, drilled in the bottom corners to be connected by another T and thru an external pump, up thru a SCWD through two 3/4" returns.

i'm also looking around for a good deal on a current usa sunpod 150W MH.

building custom stand with extra shelf for DIY ATO.

any ideas?

How are you going to fit two ten gallon tanks in that stand under the 30-gallon cube? I have one of those and I don't believe you'd be able to fit them in there.

Also-- Oceanic glass is VERY thick. Very difficult to drill (not impossible).

I would think that this may be a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use a good hangon overflow instead of drilling.
