A few general questions. I have a sailfin tang i just noticed some ich on and was told to use No-Ich and it wouldn't hurt my coral. Good idea??? and should i try a fresh water dip for 2-3 minutes???? Also i am in need of a good test kit and found a Seachem kit for Ammonia, pH, nitrite, nitrate, and alkalinity for $25. anything helps guys.
Thanks!

p.s. my nitrates are over 100 so i'me going to do 20% water changes every couple days ( first one tonight).

SeaChem test kits get generally good reviews. For the tang, I would suggest setting up a hospital tank and running hyposalinity. I suspect No-Ich won't do any good, and I won't dose medications into my reef tanks.

The freshwater dip might help. I've never had the guts to run one. If you go that route, I'd suggest matching temperature and pH closely.

Water changes won't do much good for a high nitrate problem. Your really wasting time and money on the salt. There are better ways to reduce the nitrates These articles talk about it.
