i have some big lords that i want to frag up. what is that best and safest way to do so???

wet saw will do the trick. dont try to ship the corals too soon after fragging. just wait till the edges heal over a little so you dont get many doa's.

some people have used a dremel never fragged any of my acans yet though so no personal experience

dremel is tough with bigger acans. the blade is too small to cut through the thick skeleton and rock.

hammer and chisel... :D

They are nearly indestructable IME.....

I use the Dremel all the time. There really isn't anything the Dremel with a Diamond Cutoff Wheel can't cut. The cuts are clean and heal very quickly.

I normally 'score' the piece I want to frag, completely around the mother colony, then I use a hammer and chisel to WHACK it off. Never lost a single frag or colony this way.
