Moving Water Change Water

Hey all, I am trying to come up with a way to move water from a rubbermaid trashcan into my display or sump easily. I was thinking along the lines of a cheap submersible pump and some flexible airline-type tubing. Is this feasible? Can anyone recommend a cheap pump for this?

On a related note, I have a Seio 620 power head that I'm not doing anything with. Is there any way to rig it to accept some tubing and pump water?

I use a rio 600 and a length of clear hose.

I dont think you could use a seio the output is very large.

Currently I use a MaxiJet 1200 powerhead with a length of about 5-6 ft. of flexible id tubing. Works great for my needs, and is much easier on the back than the traditional 5 gallon buckets.
