on a faq on freshwater dips i saw that mandarins and wrasses are sensitive to dips so should i reduce the period of the dip or what and also it just said wrasses and mandarins are examples so what other fish are also sensitve to freshwater dips?

i would recommend that you freshwater dip or chemically treat anything that goes in your tank.just my opinion

I've never had the guts to do a freshwater dip. If you do a dip, I'd watch carefully for signs of distress and end the dip immediately if you see any.

I would be sure that you adjust pH if doing a FW dip ... but like Jonathan, I've never had any coral/fish disease that could be fixed by a FW dip - so I've stayed away from them.

What are you dipping for?

I have done FW dips to rid of parasites only.
It will stress your fish, but may be the lesser of 2 evils.
Never done that w/ a mandarin or wrasse though.
