not a halide user, but i have an odysea tank with theyre lights n stuff. My 2 cents... dont do it. cheep-o stuff. i complained to my lfs in hopes they would stop carring them, and one of the managers had ballests break before her cycle was even complete. ive had mine 5 months and the internal fans broke... they price is nice.. but id never recommend oddysea :(

I purchased a Odyssea 48" MH fixture about 2 years ago. What a big waste of money. You get what you pay for and this fixture was a piece of crap. I upgraded to a 48" PFO arcolight 2 months after purchasing the Odyssea fixture.

Now im done with Metal halide and have ventured to HO T5 lighting :cool: .
