these pics are of the top and bottom of this thing (stomatella?) http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j260/cfarrow2/DSCN0210.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j260/cfarrow2/DSCN0217.jpg

thanks for any info. Oh, and what is this tube thingie? It started at maybe a tenth of this size, which is only 1/2 an inch or so now.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j260/cfarrow2/DSCN0607.jpg

sorry the (stomatella?) pics are blurry, I just learned about the macro setting on my camera. I got lucky he was out; he usually doesn't until night time. Any ideas on the others?

Anybody? I already checked the ID forum and didn't see anything like what I've got.

It looks more like a slug. I do notice a shell. I have one, a good one luckily, Dolabrifera. Yours is more purple? Mine is green mottled looking with antenneas like Shrek.
Does if have a small shell on back?

Your first pic is a snail. The second looks like a large flat worm, not sure. The third I am not really sure what you are looking at. If it is the little white tube above the coraline edge, that looks like a feather duster.

The second could be a snail

The first pic looks like a limpet

Second and third either a slug, or possably a large flatworm

The last pic it depends on which tube thing you are talking about. If it is the white tube that is fairly straight it is a feather duster.

If it is the larger one that slightly cure down below it, it is a vermid snail.

These are based off of my experience, but I could be wrong.

It does look like a limpet, now that i've looked at them on another site. I looked for a vermid snail, but couldn't come up w/ anything. Do you have any info on them? Thanks for the help.

OK, I see it now. Thanks for the heads up on that. That's what I've got. Are they a nuicance or should I leave him alone?

I have left mine alone. I have 2 of them. I have never had any problems with them. The only thing to watch for is they can sometimes leave a residue behind on corals. To my knowledge it wont hurt them though.
