I am thinking I will be able to transfer everything from the 125 to the new tank this weekend. we have cabinets coming in 2 weeks and we have to finish the floor tiling before then. tank stand and canopy for $250 and $350 with sump and quiet one 4000 pump. standard 6 ft length I think it is perfecto with a oak stand and canopy. canopy is a lift top design and walnut color. the glass has alot of scratches . I can email pictures or you can come see it this week or weekend. I am not available tonight after 6:30 but will be around most of the week other than that. weekend will be spent working on the transfer. I have a camaro so obviously I can't move it for anyone. tank also has an overflow in the middle of the tanks back wall. I will include any plumbing currently running the pump right now. for $350 add water and lights and good to go. the sump holds 2 socks which will not be included unless you want to pay extra for them. sorry I have to say that because of past experiences.
thank you everyone ,
robert

stan you have mail.
signing up for buckets isn't my top priority right now. rc will either change it or they will fall way behind the competition and eventually be left behind. hopefully they catch up with the new boards soon. I am no longer a moderator on any other sites either incase someone is watching.

I thought last time you said the main problem with posting pics was because the computers at your work wouldn't let you?

geez dude calm down... I tried helping you in the past with it and I remember you saying it was because of your work and now you're saying its because of RC.

Thousands of other people don't have a problem with the RC pic hosting. Maybe they're just singling you out and making it not work for you like they do with your "Occupation:" info?

ask them why they won't let me post my job title since they are the ones that took it off. it's not like I am a hooker or anything. but if I put it on there they will kick me off the site. since it is there site I won't argue with them about it. this came from there moderators and more than one. I never said they didn't make it work for me I say I don't like there way so I don't do it. and of course my work computer is not capable of hosting pics. it is a modem type thing with a monitor on a network . no inputs available of any kind then there programming blocks any downloads or uploads. if it doesn't pop up on the web page with the plugins they have downloaded you don't get anything. blitz I can't even look at your website on my work computer. after saying that I am done with the pic hosting topic.
if anyone is interested in what this thread is about please don't let my charming peronality turn you away from a good deal. if it does sorry and see ya later you will be happy paying more somewhere else.

The picture doesn't do it justice, for those who haven't seen it, I can tell you it looks even better in person. It's a very clean setup and the stand is in great shape and very solid. The price he is asking is an absolute steal and if I had the room and some reasonable way to get it home, I would take it without blinking for that price.

Also, Rob I think you're a nice guy. Sometimes people just get put off when you are direct and don't sugar coat things. I get that sometimes too. The only thing you should be in trouble for for is helping to get me wanting a reef! You just had to have that fire shrimp and LTA in there.

that pic is after the tank was running for 2 or maybe 3 months it has changed alot since then. definately more full trying to prepare for the new tank hoping it won't look empty when I change over.
thanks for the kind words laura it's not so often I hear them. I've never been one to sugar coat things. thats all I will say about that or another conversation will surely resurface.
fish thank you very much for hosting the pic for me.

Welcome and Good Luck Robert, keep us posted on your progress with the 265. From what I saw of it, I think it is going to be beautiful. It shouldn't be too empty unless you got rid of some stuff, the 125 was pretty full.

I didn't think that was a super recent pic, when I saw it you had way more pulsing Xenia and your LTA was alot bigger, also you had just gotten the pretty little Regal Tang.

tank ,stand, canopy and sump are spoken for. I will have a euro reef 8-1 or whatever model # they give them these days. not sure how much to ask for it seeing the price of them these days everything is going crazy . also will have 2 ice cap 660 ballasts that are only 3-4 months old. bought both within a week or 2 of each other. who knows what else.

Rob....I noticed in another post that you were looking for some fish. I have 3 very large fish that I need to find a nice big home for. They are in a 270 and I see that you just got a 265. Let me know if are still looking. I have a beautiful Atlantic Blue, Pacific Blue, and a Huge White Stripe Maroon Clown. :D

robthorn
04/22/2006, 07:32 AM
thanks flareef how big is the atlantic blue? I have 2 pacific/regal tangs and I have other clown plans. maroons are ummm can't say it here. how much for the atlantic blue? and can you catch it?

Trying to think of a description that would give you the size.....thats hard. Bigger than my hand....hows that :) Haven't really thought about pricing. It's kind of hard to put a price on something that has been with us for so long...but we can definately work something out. I really don't want to be responsible for hurting the fish so I would rather whoever wants it come and get it. I don't have a big enough net anyway. I don't think there would be any problem getting it though. It is very friendly and there isn't enough stuff in the tank to get in the way and we are willing to take the rock out to make it easier. Let me know either way. So you don't like maroons...he is so big...and beautiful. Doesn't bother anything. Bought him from Ichthy John when he was just a wee thing.... :D

holy cow that may be larger than I should add at this time . maybe anytime. big scares me a little . just added everything late last night so if it's that big I think I should pass at this time. I do appreciate it though.

tank, stand, canopy, sump, and pump are all gone thank you jason.
laura that tang is still alive I am not sure if you remember but it wasn't the one I picked out and I got stuck with the most sickly regal I may have ever seen that is still alive at least. it is doing pretty well lately and I got him a new buddy that is a little bigger than a nickel . chases the big one around but hard to keep up.

Your welcome. If you can believe me, I got it off and in the house by myself with my 4'10" 90lbs wife guiding me!! It took creative and resourceful thinking but we got it done. Thanks once again.

Btw the new tank looks good.

another holy cow is in order jason that is crazy. did you use the pipes to roll it in?
oh yeah you are very welcome. I will let you know on the other stuff I need to get rid of soon. having trouble with the new lights on my aquacontroller but I think it is a polarity or ground loop thing. may have to use the ice caps if I can't figure it out but I am sure I can.

Nope, a lid to a toilet seat!!:D I picked up one end and placed the other on the plastic lid using the clips of the lid as a lip for the tank and stand and pushed and slid the whole thing to the front door and then just muscled it in from there!

Very cool -kinda suprised but so glad he made it! I do remember because he still had some of the ick spots on him when I saw him and was a skinny teeny thing. It would be so cool if they turned out to be a mated pair and you get some baby tangs. Did you end up having enough fish/corals to make the 265 not look empty?
