I have noticed more and more in the last couple of weeks that there are these small white growths on the glass and also on the shells of my hermits. They are white, about the size of a pinhead, and are spiraled like a snail shell. I do not have a macro lens for my camera, so I apologize for the lackluster shots.
You can see them the best on the hermit shells; I could not get the camera to focus on the glass. There are the white spirals and what looks to be a small fan of fingers either clinging on to the glass or out into the water. Any help with an ID would be much appreciated. TIA
