So i had this idea of putting my heater in my HOB refugium.. like some people put their heaters and junk in their sump... what do you guys think? i was thinking of putting in the last chamber where the water would flow back in to the tank..

I was thinking about doing the same to a FOWLR tank I was going to set up...
...so I guess the questions is: Which HOB will actually fit a 300w heater inside, along with some carbon.

It's pretty common among the nano reefer crowd to put the heater in a seperate hob filter. For cost effectiveness nothing beats a moded Aquaclear 110 as a refugium imo.

Same as this mod just use the larger Aquaclear,

The 25" Aquafuge holds just about any heater I assume. I used to put mine in there when the tank was sumpless.
