Throwing around the idea about switching out my Tek T5 hood to try MH lighting. I think I really want something that has both the MH bulb, along with the actinics. I like the blueish look and had originally thought I might want something like the Phoenix 14K bulb, but I do also like the dusk to dawn effect and it might be nice to get a 10-12K bulb to get some better growth, hence the reason I'm now searching for the combo pendants.
I've searched around a little and didn't find too much. I found a PFO hood. I think they are pretty nice. I also found the Current Outer Orbit and COralife Units, but the reviews seem to be mixed on those, so I'm not too sure. Basically I'm looking for something nice, but I can't afford one of those $700-$1000 maristar-type units.
Any suggestions others than the PFO pendant?
