Does anyone know how long I need to wait before installing my new internal overflow boxes? They are made out of acrylic and assembled using WeldOn #4 and #16.

I heard somewhere that acrylic absorbs water and if the joints are not allowed to cure properly (days or weeks), they could split due to the material expansion. Does this sound plausible?

Hey Spyro,

You should wait at least 48hrs before you install it.

And to answer you, you can get blue acrylic at JFreeman (http://www.Jfreeman.com) that is were I get all my acrylic.

Just checked out the prices...not bad. It is the same as McMaster Online after you add in the shipping. Thanks again Gustavo!
