I have had my tank for about 3 months, I guess. Today, I noticed these long antennas sticking up from behind a shell. It looks like some type of shrimp. If I hadn't seen the antenna, I wouldn't have noiced it because it's almost clear. It's antenna are as long as my skunk cleaner shrimp's antenna are. What is it? Is it bad or good?

I don' have a digital camera, unfortunately. I don't know if it's been in my tank since I got my live rock, or if it was attached to the anenome I bought a week ago.

Without a picture, I don't think we can help much. There are just too many possibilities.

You don't happen to hear a "clicking" at all like clicking the mouse button?? If so we could narrow it down.

No clicking. I don't hear any sound at all. I'm not even sure it's a shrimp. It looks more like a shrimp than anything else. Maybe I can find a picture of one on the internet.

I did go there but it only pulled up 8 different shrimp. When I click on the thumbnails, they won't open up. It's pretty weird looking. It's so clear, that if I hadn't seen the antennas, I wouldn't have even noticed it was here.

Might be a mantis shrimp.

I looked up "mantis shrimp" on the internet. It didn't look like the pictures I found.

You have to hold 'control' when you click on his pictures. I can barely use firefox on it for some reason. Try using ($^#$%) IE and hold Control.
