This intvertebrate looks like a shark ray but actually is a crab that sifts through the sand and hides itself under the sandbed ? It is not the sand crab but is similar do you know what is the correct name for it ?

Thanks

horseshoe crabs are so cool :)

my grandfather has the preserved shell of one, and I've always wanted one, but lack the sand area to keep one - maybe in the next (much larger;) ) tank

yeah they are cool but will never survive in an aquarium that most houses can handle:(

just another one of the creatures that should be left in the ocean! even if you get one small they grow quickly, and will starve in no time.
