Over the next few months I would like to begin adding fish to my new 90 gallon reef. It is currently into its 4th week of cycling with live rock and sand. I do not want to overstock with fish so I would welcome any criticisms: FYI - this will mainly be an SPS tank

Could I eventually have:
One Pomacanthus navarchus (majestic angel)
One Paracanthurus hepatus (hippo tang)
Pair of oscellarus clowns
Pair of pajama cardinals

maybe a Oxycirrhites typus (longnosed hawkfish)

Please advise, I want to do it right :) Pics of the cycling tank are in my photos. I have about 115 lbs of rock.

What kind of corals do you plan on having? The angel is questionable on some of them. I think they are ok with SPS,
but others might be lunch.

i think you will be fine with that list. however angels are still a 50/50 chance on corals even though SPS are safer with majestic's but still not 100%

Just watch out for the tang police - they won't like a hippo tang in a 4' tank.

:)

(Trust me - I was detained and printed when I suggested it.)

I wondered abou the tang's size. I don't want it to be unhappy or not healthy. I've been reading about the majestic angel and many feel that it is pretty safe around SPS (but no clams and LPS). I'm going to stock the tank almost exclusively with SPS.

All good info!!! Thanks!
