Tunze reefpack 500?

I love my Tunze turbelle streams. They are great and absolutely silent. I will soon need to upgrade my protein skimmer (Remora Pro with Mag 3) for my 90 gallon reef. I do not have a sump and my tank is not drilled so I would like to stick with a HOT. From what I've read soon my Remora Pro won't be able to keep up. How do you set these up in a standard tank without a sump (HOT only)? Is it quiet? Any remarks are appreciated!

Thanks! :)

They are quiet but everything we make is hang in tank- not hang on tank.

So the skimmer is inside the tank. Do people use these on display tanks? I'm trying to picture it.

Thanks

Yeah, realistically the whole unit is no bigger than a built in overflow box. I have seen people make really clever structures of live rock on a frame of PVC to conceal them. In tank filters tend to be the norm in Europe, they are more energy efficient and since many people live in apts or condos, the risk of a flood from hang on or sump equipment is eliminated. The reason we don't make hang ons is the liability for flooding which tends to be very common with overflowing skimmer cups.

I see. It's probably about the same size as my skimmer box that covers my mag3 pump for the remora. Thanks so much!
