I think I remember reading 2 years but I could be wrong. Right parameters similar to keeping most inverts. SG close to 1.026.

The water params on reefs are pretty much the same all over the world, except for temperature.

Keep them just as you would any other reef critter, buy them small and they can last 2 years for you.

I'm sure that in the right tank and in the right cond. that the cleaner who last a very long time. Hope so, i've had my guy for about 3 months now. Got him when he was very "VERY" small, I'm hoping he will last 3+ years...........

my current one is 1.5 years old. It is fully grown but still molts once in a while, though I can't see any size changes in the last few molts.
