Hi.
I think the image below should be pretty obvious. But my goal is to simply flip on my RODI once every other day for both top-off and kalk.
First of all, the two valves in my plan can be set in concert to direct most of the water to the sump. But some will go into the kalk chamber.
Old kalkwasser and lime will sit in the bottom of the kalk chamber and combine with the new water causing water to flow out of the drip-line. It's worth noting that I may add a little mechanical mixer here. Or even a very tiny powerhead...
Oh, and there's an overflow to a spill-over bucket in the event I forget to turn off the RODI. That's highly unlikely and would still result in a tank with low salinity, but at least there wouldn't be kalkwasser all over the floor.
Any advice or comments would be great.
