I have found two safety warnings on these regulators, one is from NOAA, and the other from The University of Hawaii. Anyone have any more info? I have searched DAN and have not found any recalls on these at all. I am also posting this picture in case some has a problem the the .PDF files. Cracks have occurred in in the high pressure side of the regulator.

NOAA Memo (http://www.ndc.noaa.gov/pdfs/sb05-01.pdf)

Thanks,
Ed

WOW, I've never heard of any problems like that with any of the MK line. After see that though you can bet I'll double check mine.

Scary to think something like that could happen to something so critical!

Got this reply from SCUBAPRO today:

"Hello Ed,

Make sure your local dive shop is an Authorized Dealer.

We have a service campaign in affect for almost a year now and your dive shop should be aware that we provide a free kit to retrofit your regulator. Please ask your dive shop to call our Tech Services Dept if they have any questions.

Take care,
Eric
