IC 250MH Problems

Hi,

I have 2 IC250MH ballasts with 2 IC 250/400 Pendants. My issue is that I find both of the 250MH ballasts do not fire 100% of them time. Sometimes I have to switch them on and off a few times before the bulb lights. I have Hamilton 14K bulbs in both pendants. Am I doing something wrong here?

The version of the IC250MH ballast has 2 blue wires that goes to the pendant.

Make sure both systems are properly grounded. Make sure there is a good ground from each fixture to ground.

Notice how some lamp contacts are extremely thin. This will and can cause start up problems. The best lamps have the very thick contacts. The CV & Hamilton have the thin contacts which could be causing your problems.
