Can you Reuse T5 endcaps?

Is there any way to reuse waterproof endcaps once you cut them off (wires are inserted tight and don't seem to be easily removed) or do you throw them out and buy new ones? I'm all about minumal waste so anything will help.

No need to toss out the end caps as they can be reused. To get the wires out, look at the base where the lamp meets the end cap. You will see 2 small holes. Look in there and you will see a metal tab pinching against the stripped portion of the wire. Just use an awl or thin pointed objuct and depress the tab. The wire will slip right out.
If the end cap shows any corrosion or signs of arcing or overheating, that is the time to replace them.

You can also get it out without using tools.

If you give the wires a twist back and forth as you pull they will slide back out.......
