I'll deliver your new 1200 mod. and bring my camera and tripod. Move some of the Bud and coors light and grab some Molson for me. :) The 1200's shipped this AM and UPS wil have them here tomorrow. I should be able to run your way Thurs. Let me know if and when you'll be home.

Tell me your don't have neon under graphix and a DVD player in the dash! Even if you do , tell me you don't! :)

sounds good, i'll be in and out thursday so just call me the day of so i don't go anywhere.

As for the mods you asked, NO i opted to go with the 4.6 liter 4 cam, 32 valve V8 option instead that pumps out about 350 horsepower and 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds via a 5 speed manual and posi independant suspension. Its got flowmaster 2 chamber cat back exhaust and the original air intake box has been removed and replaced with a K&N filtercharger kit for more airflow.

Since i've owned the car i've lowered it, added 20 inch rims, bought 3" cowl induction hood, and a speedster cover for when the top is down. Other than that I'm broke lol. It should run low 13's on factory rims and tires. Now for the supercharger
Any other questions lol

Thank god you opted for mostly real not Ghetto go-fast crap! 4.9 ..? you need to work on that. Too much more Hp/torque and you'll need a gearbox and clutch upgrade, then rear pinion upgrade. Rear gear alone will get you over 1/2 second out of the hole but you'll lose top end. I never liked drag cars much but muscle is cool is you;re into straight line running. Go to the web and check out Ariel Motors and look at the specs on the Atom 2. It will chew up and spit out all but even the quickest crotch rockets and humiliate Enzo's, Lambo's, Hemi Chargers, Mustang Gt's, Corvettes etc. etc. and runs a 2 liter Honda rig and running gear. Power to weight is about 600 hp. per ton. Now THAT's a fast car. $40K isn't a scary sticker either for a car that takes a crap on a million dollar Ferrari!

Julene, my youngest kid (you met Jana briefly) has a friend with a stock 06 'stang GT that's aweful damn spooky fast too. Good Lord! I could get in alot of trouble with that toy! Glad I'm grown up now and "most" of that speed stuff is in my memory. Oh, and that I lived thru it! You'll have let me thrash... er um... drive yours some time and show you how it's done. LOL

lol its not a mustang GT. Its a Mustang COBRA. number 3270 of only 4055 total built in 1999. I believe only 800 or less were triple black convertibles. I eat GT's for breakfast, the car is relatively stock, and yea a gear change may be up for next summer. A cobra already comes "beefed" up persay in the upgrade compartment. Like the tranny is not the factory ford one but a TREMEC 5 speed manual sporting a high performance dual friction clutch. 13" rotors with brembo dual piston calipers and so on and so on and so on. I could go on all day, she's def my baby! And only 44 thousand miles on the clock, not bad for a 1999. I'm the second owner and bought the car from the original in person.... but sure stack for a couple hundred bucks you can take her for a spin lol

He (Mike) actually seems to be level headed and grounded (we old farts call that mature). The honda or VW GTI would be a fine choice for economy and overall value. When gas is $5-6/gal. many hotrods and flashy monster SUV's (hummers) will be a dime a dozen as their true utility drops to nada.

Then again, if you're a gajillionaire who cares? Right?

And Mike's not my type (Female)

Really... is that the best comeback you got? I quess my comment must a hit close to home eh? LOL

Like I told you earlier, have all of you fun now! In another 20 years you can give the same advice I give and remember just how naive you really were . Never admit it tho, that's just not manly! LOLOLOL
