I do not have cable TV so I just use the ol' "rabbit ears". Since I put the 3 250w MH and the 660 VHO on my tank my reception is almost gone. The ballast are mounted in the basement and the tank is about 4-5 feet from my TV antenna. All is grounded well. the reception is better if the lights are off but still poor unless I unplug all the lights. Is there anything I can do to help this? Perhaps an in-line filter for the line? Any help would be appreciated. On the bright side (poor pun intended :) ), I really am pleased with the lights. Thank you,

Rob

I had the same problem as you and I posted in the Icecap forum and sent them an e-mail addressing the problem. The post and e-mail were sent around June '04 and I have yet to receive any response from Icecap. Usually Andy and Company are right on top of any issues. I look forward to seeing if you get a response.

I also don't have cable but I don't have problems with the antenna and the ears. Do your ears have an amplifier? If not you can get them at Best Buy for ~$30-$100.

Good Luck

I have amplified antenna. THat was one attempt. I also bought some little filter thing that did nothing. I gotta say I'm a little disappointed with Icecap. I thought I would at least get an "I dunno" or a KMA. Something.
