Great looking tank. Love all the colors! I also have a BTA and a flamehawk. It is so funny when I feed the BTA I almost have to beat the flamehawk off the chunk of silverside or shrimp. He is such a pig even after he has gobbled up his fair share. Such a character!

Thanks everyone

You no what's funny is that my wifes favorit thing in the whole tank is the green algae in the upper right hand corner. I like it too but she wants it all over the tank

Very nice!!!
I have the same tank, but yours looks spacious.
I have everything hanging on the back. The filter, skimmer, heater, refugium and 3 powerheads.
Just some stupid questions from me. Where do you put your refugium please? I don't see any powerheads neither? How many lbs of sand do not have in there?
Thank you.

I have filters hanging on the back also but they are soon to come out, just put a 20gal sump in the back with my aquaC urchin skimmer got rid of the seaclone. So my heater is in the sump and I am going to run my filter pads and carbon back there so that should clear up some room.

I have no refugium and two powerheads on each side one 300gph and one 400gph. I don't no how many lbs of curshed coral I have but I put I think 4 bags in.

Have any pictures of your tank?

Mine is full of green hairy algae at the moment. It would be a shame to put it here, lol. I don't have an 'overflow' built in my tank, so I have everything hanging on the back.

I don't have an overflow built in either you can just buy one at your LFS or online like I did, and buy a used 20gal tank for like 10bucks. All the piping you need to run it to your sump you can get a lowes.

IC, never think of that. Thank you for your advice. I will do that, the only problem is that I am not sure if they are available in Canada. There are so many stuffs you cannot find them here. I guess you are in the States, right?

Yea I am from the states but I am from arkansas which is probably worse off than canada when trying to get things you need. Thats one thing good about the internet you can get anything you want. Well almost anything.

The reason I asked was I have one and when I first put in my tank it was beautiful! Then it slowly began to bend over? I was told in this forum by one of the mods to hang upside down-it worked! I don't think it is or it would be red....not purple. Your have a beautiful tank. Mine is still a work in progress. Going home to mount some frags this afternoon...

Nemo, very nice tank....where bouts in AR are you? I live in Searcy, and feel your pain about finding things you need. There's a few decent places around LR though.

Northside is one of the ones I was going to suggest. I guess you know about Safari in Cabot and Jax? I've had GREAT luck with their livestock and corals both.

There's also a fairly nice place in Benton...h2Ocean...I've not bought anything there, but they are very knowledgeable.

Also a nice place in Hot Springs....I forget the name (maybe Marine World)...but you need to watch him there...he'll take advantage of you if he can as far as price. Lots of stuff is not marked, and he prices things as he goes on some stuff.

I've been to Safari in jax but not cabot. I don't like the one in jax just because everytime i go in there there is atleast 3 or 4 fish dead in the tanks. The one in cabot is it better?

Have you ever talked to the drunk british guy at H2O he cracks me up. He gave me a mushroom and told me that it would cover my tank in one week lol. I get most of my advice from Tom at northside he hasn't done me wrong yet.

I no what you mean about Marine World in hot springs he tried to sell my friend a 30" corallife compact life for 240 dollars I over heard them talking so I stepped in and he came down to 129.99 but he would of sold it for 240. I also got him to admit that he was using vodka in his tanks. He said he had a secret for keeping nitrates down but he would not tell me unless I would become a valued customer......what a dick. So I told him he was using vodka he said no but I kept on hounding him and he finaly admitted it.
