I'm having a problem getting and keeping my ph down. Right now my monitoris reading 8.7. It fluctuates from 8.6-8.8 and I can not figure out why. My calcium is 415 dkh is 10. Lights are on a reverse cycle for fuge and display. The only thin I do is weekly water changes with rodi water and I.O. also I drip[ kalk 24-7. This is a sps system so plkease help

You mix of kalk is too strong. Lay off the kalk until the ph drops. also check your monitors calibration.

Either you are adding too much limewater, or the pH meter is off. Have you recently calibrated the meter? What brand fluid?

In most cases ph is rarely too high. It just does not happen very often. Not to say that it doesn't. But in just the past few days there has been 3 instances where folks thought the ph was too high and then they calibrated and the ph was just fine.

It may save you some real hassle.
