i caught my emerald grab going to town on my corals.. is this normal

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. I found about 35 zoanthids missing one day and found out it was my Emerald Crab. Neadless to say, I think the toxins ended up killing him within a few days. From what I have heard, if they are not feed enough they will start to go after your corals. Just take him out and put him in your sump or somewhere besides in your main tank.

I think some individual ones are safe, while others may not be. I had one who didn't touch my corals for a long time, but then I caught him one night eating zoos. A lot of people in my reef club don't keep them because they can be hit or miss. (But they're great for bubble algae!)

yeah.. i had this one for a while.. i guess it got the craving for coral.. i feed it meat every other day..
