My tank ran for 2 weeks starting with tap water and salt.... then I added 100 pounds of LR. Its been 1 weeksince then. I got my live rock through 2nd day ups from the west coast.
(Will be a fish and LR tank only)
My amonia and everything are off the charts high. I did a water change today, about 20%. Should i do another water change and if so when. No ro/di unit as of now either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would try to keep the ammonia levels in the .20 range or lower to help preserve the life on the rock myself. Excessive levels only prolong the cycle. Many new tanks go through a series of 50% or larger water changes during the cure process

An RO/DI unit is a very worthwhile investment as tap water as you know has a lot of stuff you do not want/need in your tank.

If all you have is tap water, premix in a container, use an additive to remove chlorine and chloramines (the later will not dissipate and is why "some" municipalities use it)

I concur with Randall. It's what I would do as well.
