I don't know what it is but it sure does have good coloring and looks very nice.

Wow! It is a rainbow echinata? One of my friend got a colony of rainbow echinata. It looks more nicer than mine.

yes indeed its an echinata commonly refered to as a rainbow. but there are many similiar variations of echinatas that are refered to as echinata. dont be so down on the coral.......its an awesome piece.
