I would like a Bluedot but have heard that they don't survie more than a year... Any Experience?
In captivity? dont bother, it will most certainly die. These need to be left in the wild

I have had mine for one year and three days = ) I had to use a certain antibiotic to flush out his digestive organs of a certain parasitic worm that typically kills the ray by eating its insides. I really dont recomend the ray because not only are the meds a key but premium water quality is a must. The ray tank is very demanding if you do not keep up with it, you will watch it perish.

There is an article in the most recent AFM magazine on them that I got in the mail yesterday. I haven't had a time to read it yet ( reef club meet last night ;) )but you may want to pick it up and see what it has to say.
