i just got a refractometer that came without instructions. i found a website with instructions and it said to use distilled water to calibrate sg to zero. will ro/di water work?

I think some do use their ro/di. I think distilled would be better unless you know that you TDS on your ro/di is zero.

i tested ro/di and it read zero so i guess no calibration is needed... looks like what my hyrdrometer read as 1.025 is really 1.022. ive had a colony of zoos die recently, you think that could have contributed to it or is 1.022 not a big deal? ill slowy raise it up over the next few days.
