How to rewire 660 for dual power cords?

My 660 is running 4 x 4' of VHO lamps right now. They are all on one plug and since 2 are actinics and 2 are whites, I'd like to be able to run the actinics on a slighlty longer photoperiod. While I am at it, I want to move to ballast out of the canopy and under the stand (purchased this used).

Are there any instrutions available on how this can be done and what level of experience would be required?

This can not be done. If it is wired for 4 lamps then all 4 lamps must be installed and on. You can not control individual lamps or pairs of lamps. You will require a second ballast to accomplish this.
