Where I live I actually see bluelines quite frequently for about that price.

Might be a dumb question, but are bluelines reef safe?

no, but I have one that hasn't touched shrooms, polyps, anenomes, or soft corals......go figure? If I do put in a rock with a coral on it, it will try to move the rock though...about 6" fish.

who has kept one for a while(year +)? I have heard that they get ungodly mean. right now it is in a 46 by itself, but as soon as it gets a little larger it is going into a 140 with a niger, will they be ok together? the niger is aroung 5"

Niger will tag it....at least mine has.

Had mine 6 months now, grown about 1.5-2", is showing aggressing once in a while to the other tankmates, especially the clown trigger.

They're not as mean as undulated or queens, but they get significantly larger than either of those, so they tend to be more destructive than those to.

Aside from them being perfectly willing to kill other fish, any crustaceans, and eat corals, they also have a tendency to redecorate the tank, so you might not find your corals where you left them. Oh, and you have to be careful about powerheads, because they can ches through the cords. And don't keep a heater in your tank, because the fish can break the tube.
